In this project, Stephanie and I created a PowerPoint on the genre horror. We researched different aspects of horror. We included various camera angles and lighting. Some common lighting in horror movies is silhouette and spotlights. This is important because it gives the piece of the film an eerie feel when necessary. Our PowerPoint also included the aspects of horror we liked and didn't like. For example, we don't like the stereotypes that are used. The rude snobby girl always dies first while the nerd character dies last (or survives). However, we like the dark feeling horror movies give. The lighting can make a character look truly terrifying.
